THE STORY OF COBBS

A partnership between Ballarat's Brendan Wrigley and Rumble Coffee Roasters, Cobbs Coffee is situated on the corner of Sturt St and Lydiard St, in one of Ballarat's heritage buildings, and has grown to become the go-to spot in Ballarat for specialty coffee, delicious food, excellent service, and an unparalleled cafe experience.

Owner Brendan, is an old hand behind the coffee machine, and has worked in some of the best cafes right across the world. His love for great coffee, and sharing that with others is what drives the friendly team at Cobbs Coffee.

The core value and purpose behind Cobb's is simple; give people the best five minutes of their day, every day. The Cobbs ethos is that great coffee shops have the ability to provide a sense of the 'third' space, outside of home and work, a relaxed atmosphere where people feel comfortable and most importantly, acknowledged.

The menu is simple but excellent, the perfect spot for lunch, with a range of sandwiches chock full of local produce and delicious ingredients, alongside a range of locally made pastries courtesy of 1816 Bakehouse.

With this in mind Cobbs Coffee is a space that is light, bright and inviting. The old Cheers adage of 'you want to go where everybody knows your name' might feel like a bit of cliche but it really is true. Going out of our way to get to know our customer base is at the core of what we strive to do.
